Mountain of Blues
The philosophy of Mountain of Blues dates back to the early 1990’s, when Michael Cloeren, Founder and Producer of The Pocono Blues Festival, and Host/Producer of The Mountain of Blues radio show and Website, presented 12 National and International Blues recording artists at the very first Pocono Blues Festival at Big Boulder Ski Area in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania, on August 1st & 2nd 1992. Since that date, Michael has showcased the talents of more than 300 Blues/Gospel/Soul artists, to the delight of tens of thousands of music fans that make the pilgrimage annually, hailing from over 30 states and a dozen countries. Because of his continual efforts, Michael received the "“Promoter of The Year “ award in 1996 from the Memphis based Blues Foundation. You can hear Michael Cloeren's award winning Mountain Of Blues show Sunday Nights form 9pm-Midnight
